Corrugated Board

A corrugated board consists of two major components – linerboard and medium. Linerboard is the flat paper that covers both sides of the sheet whilst the medium is the “Fluted” or arched paper found between both liners.

Types of Corrugated Flutes

Corrugated board used for boxes is generally made in four flute sizes A, B, C, and E. The “Flute” describes the structure of the wave-shaped cardboard material that makes up a board’s corrugation.
